Description: |
HOXA9 is part of the A cluster of the homeobox family of DNA-binding transcription factors. This protein may play a role in gene expression, morphogenesis, and embryonic development. It and the fusion oncogene NUP98-HOXA9 have been implicated in leukemia. SMAD4 has been shown to negatively regulate HOXA9-mediated leukemia stem cell growth. |
Immunogen: |
A recombinant protein fragment from the N-terminal region of human HOXA9 was used as the immunogen for this antibody. |
Storage: |
Aliquot the antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Properties: |
If you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C. |
